Associazione Humus O r g a n i z z a FESTIVAL di PLAYBACK THEATRE Un rituale per i beni comuni 30 novembre / 4 dicembre La Cittadella - Assisi (PG) Il Festival di Playback Theatre è un evento internazionale per scambiare pratiche e idee sulla funzione del Playback Theatre e la sua applicazione nel lavoro con le comunità orientato a sviluppare una maggiore sensibilità al tema dei beni comuni. Concetti come alterità, creatività e mondialità faranno da guida per riflettere sul ruolo del Playback Theatre per il futuro dell’umanità e per individuare nuovi orizzonti di visione del metodo. In un cruciale momento storico di crisi come quello attuale riteniamo che il Playback Theatre costituisca un mezzo privilegiato per affrontare temi urgenti di portata universale sul destino dell’uomo e del pianeta.   L’alterità L’altro, il diverso visto come ricchezza, possibilità di collaborazione e scambio. Inventare le modalità per coesistere e interagire con l’altro è condizione necessaria per realizzare gli obiettivi di un altro mondo possibile ed è condizione indispensabile per la sopravvivenza.   La creatività La creatività sta alla base della creazione artistica (musica, scultura, pittura, danza, teatro) e di altre forme di espressione umana quali lo sport, il divertimento, ma la si ritrova anche nel linguaggio dell’astrofisica, della biologia, della filosofia, dell’economia, sociologia e informatica. Creatività come bene comune è indispensabile per elaborare e sviluppare risposte sempre migliori e funzionali alla vita. La creatività che nasce dalla spontaneità necessita di due presupposti: contestualizzazione e libertà. Il PT è un metodo creativo quando parte dai medesimi presupposti.   La mondialità Il vivere insieme come espressione della condizione umana nelle sue variazioni temporali e spaziali; come appartenenza a una comunità mondiale (l’umanità), di cui certi valori e certe pratiche costituiscono un bene comune.   Assisi Quale città migliore poteva ospitare un festival che si pone l’obiettivo di fare comunità e di riflettere sul senso di ciò che accomuna l’umanità, se non Assisi, universalmente conosciuta come simbolo dell’ecumenismo e della pace, dove Oriente e Occidente si integrano e si completano. Assisi, città di San Francesco, portatore di valori quali l’umiltà, la fraternità e la povertà costituisce il palcoscenico ideale in cui una platea cosmopolita potrà incontrarsi e confrontarsi attraverso quello spirito semplice, sobrio e sincero che contraddistingue il Playback Theatre.   Cittadella A guisa di moderna abbazia, posta nel centro storico di Assisi, la Cittadella Ospitalità propone soggiorni tranquilli. Vi è a disposizione un'ampia biblioteca e una galleria d'arte moderna, oltre alle camere, semplici e provviste di bagno privato. La Cittadella Ospitalità si trova a 500 metri dalla Basilica di San Francesco, patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO, e a 3 km dalla stazione ferroviaria di Assisi. La Cittadella, si propone come uno spazio di convivialità, come un laboratorio dove le arti e le scienze sono chiamate a incontrarsi e a stabilire una rete di interscambio, di condivisione e di incontro.     Laboratori e Conduttori Parteciperanno al festival in qualità di conduttori, oltre ad esperti italiani, numerosi esperti stranieri di fama internazionale. Concepts like otherness, creativity and globality will provide the lead in reflections on the role of playback theatre for humanity’s future and for generating new vision with this method. In such a crucial time as this we believe in PlaybackTheatre as a significant tool for addressing issues as important as the destiny of humanity and of the planet.   Otherness The other – those who are different from us - seen as richness and opportunity for collaboration and sharing. To re-invent a sustainable way for us all to coexist & interact with ‘the other’ it is necessary to manifest a viable world for our personal & collective survival.   Creativity Creativity is the root of artistry (music, sculpture, painting, dance, theatre) and of other human expressions such as sports and games. It is also a key value in astrophysics, biology, economics, sociology and information technologies. Creativity is our natural & common tool for finding new and better solutions. Creativity that comes out of spontaneity require two assumptions - context & freedom. Playback Theatre is a creative method which emerges from these two assumptions.   Globality An expression of humanity living together in time and space; a belonging to a worldwide community that holds certain values and practices in common.   Assisi Which other city could welcome a festival that has an objective such as reflecting on humankind and community! Assisi is universally known as a symbol for ecumenism where western & oriental cultures meet and integrate with each other. St. Francesco is the bearer of values ​​such as humility, brotherhood and poverty. His city, Assisi, is the ideal stage in which an audience can meet and discuss the cosmopolitan spirit through the simple, sober & sincere style that distinguishes Playback Theatre.   Cittadella As a modern abbey, located in the historic centre of Assisi, the Citadel Hospitality Center offers a peaceful stay. There is an extensive library and a gallery of modern art. The rooms are simple and equipped with private bathrooms. The Citadel Hospitality is 500 meters from the Basilica of San Francesco, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and 3 km from the Assisi train station. The Citadel is proposed as a space of conviviality, and as a laboratory where the arts and sciences are called to meet and establish a network of exchange, sharing and socializing.   Workshop conductors As well as Italian conductors, many leaders and trainers of international reputation will join the festival. Please see attachments: Workshops – Short and Long   Spot groups Participants are invited to contribute to spot groups (see ON LINE entry form) proposing something on the theme of: "Experience" - Presentation of experiences and projects related to the themes of the festival "Theoretical Contribution" - Presentation of theoretical elaborations on Playback Theatre and its uses "Best Practice" - Description of specific projects & realizations of innovative ecological and sustainable practices "Technique" - Presentation of new techniques and applications of Playback Theatre & action methods     Connections Train: Assisi railway station (distance 4 km), on Roma/Ancona and Firenze/Terontola/Foligno lines. Plane: daily flights 10 Km, Airport St. Egidio (25 min. to the hotel) - Perugia.
